Ottawa Clay Festival

The Ottawa Clay Festival is a fun-filled spring event, presented by the Ottawa Guild of Potters at the Horticulture Building in Lansdowne Park. Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

It always begins when the Spring Pottery Sale opens its doors at 3 pm. At 5 pm, join us for the Annual Juried Exhibition award announcements, hosted by the juror. The exhibition is then open for the public to enjoy all weekend, with host potters available to answer questions.

The Ottawa Clay Festival is a fun-filled spring event, presented by the Ottawa Guild of Potters at the Horticulture Building in Lansdowne Park.

But that's just the beginning! All weekend long, in addition to the Spring Pottery Sale and Annual Exhibition, you can enjoy:

  • A lively pottery throw down, where potters go head-to-head in creative clay challenges
  • Fascinating pottery demonstrations to inspire future potters
  • A dedicated children’s clay area for kids to get some hands-on creative fun
  • Adult playtime on the wheel, where you can get some help to give the wheel a spin
  • Live music to keep the atmosphere vibrant and festive
